- Potential Projects
We discussed a number of potential projects. We will have further discussion
at the next meeting
- Create an ARNC sign
to publicize ARNC while we are doing projects.
- We ned a telephone number
- Elizabeth said that we could use her animal rescue number and
that she would change the message.
- Try to recruit membership
at the James Lick flea market.
- Elizabeth will call
James Lick and see if "project earth" still exists and
also see if there is another student group that we can partner with
on future projects.
- Have Andrea call Strong
Neighborhood Initivative Sal Alvarez, and see what we can do about
abandoned shopping carts
- Plant flowers at the
James Lick corner of Alum Rock and White Road. It is a good candidate
because it has a sprinkler system. Elizabeth to see if the school
will let us do this project and Steve to contact Our City Forest
to see what plants they will donate.
- David Sanchez suggested
a food and wine pairing at the Thai White Rock Cafe.
- We discussed how Japantown
has a sake tasting event where each merchant has a different sake
and sometimes food. The paricipant buys a ticket and goes around
to all of the merchants. This is a good way to "discover"
the Alum Rock Village.

were no other announcements made.
- Adjournment : The
meeting was adjourned at 9:30 PM.
- The next meeting
is Thursday, March 15, at 7 PM at the Joseph George Community/Recreation
